Vancouver Community College
January 2019 Theme: JAWS Help System
During the January 23, 2019 meeting we will demonstrate how to access the JAWS built-in help audio files as a means of learning more about how this powerful screen reader can give blind computer users access to more information, independence and productivity.
GTT New Westminster:
Date & Time: Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 10 AM until 12 Noon
Where: Blind Beginnings Office, 227 6th Street, New Westminster
*Note: Meetings have traditionally been on the third Tuesday, however due to scheduling issues it was decided during the October meeting that New Westminster GTT will now meet on the 4th Wednesday of each month.
John Ogilvie will demonstrate how to use the JAWS built-in Daisy Audio Book Help System and the FS Reader that ships with every copy of JAWS.
The second half of the meeting will include an opportunity to seek tech advice from those with more knowledge. Please bring the device you want assistance with.
